Tell your guildie to pull his head out of his ass and start using Vanish offensively. Vanish to get a sap if the other team uses Peeption; Vanish if you’re getting kited and your ShSooldown isn’t up. Vanish if there’s an ioming FearPolyClone. If you only use Vanish as a defensive move, you’re going to be stk in the 1500s forever.Ok I will rommend it to him. I just wanted to ask some more experieed members of the rogueommunity before stepping on his playground so to say.Wahing some of Neilyo’s pvp videos, itlearly showed me vanish was meant to be used defensively AND offensively as situationalls for it. Offensive vanishing is a beautiful thing. And why wouldn’t you use vanish in EVERY arena mah? o_Ohey guys, i have a quk question and don’t have the time right now to sift through the threads for info. i am spced fury for raids and often wonder how rogues with around the same level of gearan put out signifantly more dps than me (maybe 5% or so more). i figure this has something to do with being able to drop threat (vanish?), using a rotation built around sle and de and putting out a lot of white damage, and usingloak of shadows to stay in melee range longer than ian as a warrior… but i am not sure of the spifs. if you guysould fill me in that would be great. i am trying my hardest to dps on the same level as the rogues but i’m not sure how mh is attributable to gear (whh ian address) and how mh tolass differees (whh ian’t).SS, SnD, 5SS, Rupture For-the-win.

Ranged weapon damage is ionsequential. All you really want is the statssomething that does any damage at all tp pull with. So whhever of the two gives most stat bonuses. For PvE, whatever gives you the best stats. For PvP, thrown for deadly!

hex idea

im still down with the hex ideaIt’s not that Rall Totem is a suggested skill to reple the Hex idea, they’re not at all for the same purpose. Hex would be a great addition for aC ability, and would be a valuable asset to the Shamanlass. A rall totem islearly not aC ability butould be used as aounter to some forms ofC among its other uses. Obviously it hasounters, as every skill should, and I think Dinoreturn’s idea is pretty balaed. Air probably makes the most sense as far as what totem type isoerned, though waterould work as well. It would be fun to see yourharter melt into a liquid, slurp ross the ground and reform at the totem’s lation. Dropping it before a fight, espially in arena shouldnt be a hassle. Drop it just outside of your gate and keep moving as normal. It’s not really meant to get you inontt with another playermob, whh I admit the shamanlass needs, but rather to get you out of trouble. Alternatively youould put it bk with your healer and port bk to help if they’re getting killed. It sks wahing your priest die while you stand there rooted and helpless. It’s the type of skill thatould have a number of imaginative uses. If itomes down to whh skill is more benifial to the Shamanlass, Hex would surely be the betterhoe. Rall totem would be just neat to mess around with and a helpful addition in a number of situations. There’s really no need to worry about it though, in all likleyhood we’re not getting either. Can Someone explain this to me? Areertain spells AoE spells, like rain of fire, or Howl? I may be way off, but I’m laying it on the table anyway….starthopp’in!Any spell or ability thatauses an efft over an area, as opposed to a single target, isonsidered an Area of Efft spellability, or AoE. Warlk AoE spells ilude Rain of Fire, Hellfire, Howl of Terror, and Seed oforruption. The Voidwalker has an AoE threat-gaining ability (name eapes me at the moment, I haven’t used VW sie swihing to Demo), and the Felguard has aleave attk. I’m not really sure I get your question, but I believe what you ask has something to do with what warlk spells are AoE… I’ll answer that, in the best way Ian and hope that’s your question. Warlks do have AoE spells, not as many as mages, but we do. If what you want is a master of AoE’ing stuff down, get a mage, but we are able to do some very ne dps with AoE spells. Basally our AoE spells are Rain of Fire (X damage over time to Y Area at Z range, damageomes with tks, fire damage, very mh like theounterpart of Mage’s blizzard spell), Hellfire (VERY EFFTIVE AoE spell, however, it requires you to be right in the middle of the tion, sie the damage is done to all units in X area AROUND you, basally youast the spell on yourself, also, it does the same damage you do to units around you, to theaster, not meaning if you do 300 dps to 4 units you will get 1200 dps, you will get 300, use only when getting healedbubbled), Howl of Terror (Not really a damage spell, but it does have an Area of Efft; it basally has a 2.0 sondsast time,an be done instantast with affltion talents, and it fears X number of targets for Y number of sonds in a relatively large area around you) , and Seed oforruption (Damage over Time spell, 2.0 sondsast time, it does a very ne amount of DoT shadow damage to the target,and when the duration is over, or the target dies, it does a large amount of shadow damage in an explosion that damages all unitsaught in it). NOTE: If you are Destrtion spced, youan get the 41-pointer talentalled Shadowfury, wh is basally an AoE ranged stun, that does ne shadow damage, and has a really lowast time. *Oh, that was a pretty large paragraph* Anyway, I believe those are all of our AoE spells, butoering your minions, you also have some, for example Voidwalkeran use Suffering (is that the name? Iant remember… poor VW got nailed long time ago) to grab (or try to) the aggro from all the units around him by basally doing an AoE taunt, has not a shortooldown, so dont rely on it. And I believe Felguard hasleave too, wh im not surean beategorized as an AoE spell, bause it just does damage to the target an his nearest ally, but it still does damage to several targets. Scy and her sedtion in pvp is viable if you’re destro and use dirt damage spells ,no dotsuz they break sede. SO ,if u want to pvp you SHOULD have a pet ,you DONT need to but it gimps you. In 5man,heros,raids also i guess(wouldnt know,dont raid) its good idea to srifise scy to get +shadow dmg 02140 build for that. edit: remember that your felhunter gains HEALTH when devouring mag My Arena Build. SLSL isnt about damage, its about who has the better healer. I assume your talking about arenas and not bgs? This sp is meant to outlast, not out damage. Keep dots up, use line of sight, make your fears also t as interrupts, e e. When your pet dies, pop Fel Dom and summon another. It isommon for me to s my Felpup in arenas tually. If I see he is being targeted, and near death, I will dotrun out of LoS while I s him, and let 3-4 tks of the srife tk on me. Will usually restore a little over 1500 mana, then I summon another. Just prte, anytime someone targets your pet, its a good thing, as thats time they spent not targetting you.
that some bosses dont have
Just a quk note, blizzard hasonfirmed that some bosses dont have parry-haste on them anymore (pahwork being one I think). They will still parry the attk and take no damage, but they won’t swing faster bause as said, they were designed to hit hard and fast to begin with. Also, here’s aurious question, does stroke from a blood DK prevent the parry haste? I have got my DK to 65 and I questing in outlands now. I have been seeing plenty of DKs around in their blue gears. A few havehanged though. The gears you get byompleting eh quest. My question is that does the blue gear last till 70? So far tbh I have no problem levelling with these set. Able to hit 2 levels per day. I even saw some of the DKs hitting northrend with the same gear as well. I read somewhere that the only gear you need tohange is to grab the blade of misfortune. So I am alittleonfused. Btw a grp of 5 dksleared Hell Ramps with no healer. Wonder whether we are imbalaedlass. We died aouple of times but we got the quest done though. I may be wrong here.
